Group sizes are limited to 12 participants to create the perfect balance between individual attention and group dynamics.

  • Simply bring your booking confirmation (printed or digital) when you arrive, and you’re all set. Plan to arrive on Sunday from 4 PM. We’ll begin with an introduction circle and orientation at 6 PM, followed by a delicious dinner at 7 PM.

  • Yoga with Daisy: Start or reset your day with mindful movement, deep breathing, and grounding practices. Connecting to the body helps quiet the mind, making flow more accessible.

    Drum and Rhythm Workshops: Dive into the primal magic of rhythm with drums, shakers, tambourines, and more. These workshops will explore how group rhythm creates a shared flow state.

    Soulful Singing with Mahasukha: Open your heart and unlock your voice. Mahasukha will lead the group in singing three-part harmonies, creating an uplifting, soulful connection.

    Ocean Dips and Nature Walks: Experience the grounding and invigorating power of the natural world with barefoot adventures in South Downs National Park and refreshing dips in the sea. Let nature’s rhythm soothe your mind and inspire your creativity.

    Group Songwriting with Andy: Collaborate to craft a song as a group. Andy will guide the process, showing how creative synergy can birth something truly unique.

    Arranging and Mixing a Song: Using the group’s song, Andy will demonstrate his less-is-more aesthetic, guiding you through arrangement and mixing techniques that bring music to life.

    Behind the Music with Andy: Gain insight into the craft of music production as Andy shares stories, techniques, and lessons learned from his most inspiring projects.

    Getting the Best Out of a Vocalist: Andy will delve into both the technical and emotional sides of capturing stunning vocal performances, emphasizing the importance of trust and connection between the singer, producer, and arrangement.

  • The flow state thrives on spontaneity, so schedules may shift to align with the group’s energy and creative rhythm. Each day is designed to foster inspiration, collaboration, and connection, creating an unforgettable musical journey.

    7:00 AM – Morning Activation with Daisy

    • Begin the day with a 90-minute embodied movement or gentle yoga practice. Daisy will guide you to connect with your body, grounding yourself in the present moment where creativity flows most freely.

    8:30 AM – Breakfast

    • Enjoy a nourishing meal featuring fresh fruits, smoothies, granola, and locally sourced delicacies. This wholesome start fuels both your body and inspiration for the creative sessions ahead.

    10:00 AM – Songwriting with Andy

    • Dive into the studio with Andy for a collaborative songwriting session. Starting with a blank canvas, the group will channel their collective energy to craft a track together, guided by Andy’s expertise and intuition.

    1:00 PM – Lunch

    • Share a delicious and healthy meal, prepared with mainly organic ingredients, to recharge for the afternoon.

    2:00 PM – Soulful Singing with Mahasukha

    • Explore the joy of opening your voice and connecting through music. Mahasukha will lead you in uplifting vocal harmonies, helping you find flow and inspiration through soulful, three-part singing.

    4:00 PM – Back in the Studio with Andy

    • Return to the studio to build on the morning’s work. The session may focus on writing top-line ideas, crafting lyrics, or arranging the track, allowing the creative flow to guide the process. By now, a structure might emerge, ready for refinement.

    7:00 PM – Dinner

    • Share a communal meal with the group, featuring delicious, locally inspired dishes that nurture both body and soul.

    8:30 PM – Evening Gathering

    • Wrap up the day with a relaxed group activity. Options may include a harmony session in the hot tub, playback of the day’s progress in the state-of-the-art Genelec-equipped control room, or a casual jam session around the fire to celebrate your collective creativity.

  • Choose from a choice of 9 bedrooms in the beautiful house, two cosy cabins or two gorgeous bell tents. All accommodation comes with comfy mattresses, bedding and fluffy towels.

    The retreat is nestled within the South Downs National Park and has a garden with valley views, a hot tub, cold plunge and an outdoor tiered seating area.

  • During free time throughout the retreat, you will have full access to the hot tub and cold plunge, both boasting stunning views of the valley below and ideal for sunset viewing soaks.

  • Our very own retreat chef will prepare delicious, healthy, locally sourced food for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Using seasonal ingredients where possible, the food will be vegetarian with the option for vegan upon prior request. If you have  dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know and we will arrange separate meals for you.

Music, Movement and Mastery: A 5 Day Summer Music Retreat

Meet your hosts

On this retreat, you’ll experience the unique offerings of our founder and all round musical magician Andy Barlow and his close friend and Queen of wellness Daisy booth.

Andy Barlow

Andy Barlow is a renowned artist and producer, best known as one half of the iconic electronic duo LAMB. With a career spanning over three decades, Andy has worked with legendary artists including U2, David Gray, FKA twigs, Snow Patrol, and Damien Rice. His groundbreaking production credits include several tracks on U2’s Songs of Experience, and he joined their global tour as a creative live contributor. His compositions have featured in Moulin Rouge!, Six Feet Under, and Sense8, as well as commercials for Guinness, Audi and Tomb Raider.

A self-taught prodigy, Andy discovered his talent for music production as a teenager, mastering studio equipment and crafting his first release at 18. He co-founded LAMB at 19, signing a five-album deal and touring over 60 countries. LAMB’s innovative blend of electronic and organic sounds established them as genre-defying pioneers.

Recently, Andy has focused on combining his passion for music and wellness. Operating from his state-of-the-art studio near Brighton, and his beachside studio in Mandrem Goa, he collaborates with artists while developing immersive music and wellness retreats. These experiences fuse creativity and well-being, reflecting his commitment to inspiring personal and artistic transformation.

Daisy Booth

With over 14 years experience hosting retreats and nearly two decades in the health industry, Daisy has learned to integrate Nutrition Science along with Health Coaching, Yoga, Meditation and Naturopathic practices. She combines elements of all of these and more when curating her creative, transformational retreats, events, talks, courses and programmes.

Daisy's ongoing passion and study into all these modalities including Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga, Dance,  Bodywork and Somatic-release influence her approach to movement and living with more balance and ease.

Mahasuka

Mahasukha is a very experienced and popular Soulful Singing and Mantra teacher and percussionist based in Brighton who has been leading uplifting workshops and retreats for the past 20 years. Mahasukha brings out the best in people with enthusiasm, sensitivity and encouragement, bringing them joy and inspiring them towards a deeper experience of beauty, connection and belonging.
